Privacy Policy
1. At PKG, the focus of our information-gathering
activities is the study of business and consumer trends,
demographics and aggregate practices. We value the participation
of each study participant, along with their commitment
to their respective organizations. Therefore, we make
protecting the personal privacy of each participant,
insulating each participant's personal information from
all reported study results, and maintaining the anonymity
of each participant's organizational affiliations, a
fundamental responsibility and priority in each study
that we conduct.
2.What We Do. We gather information
to study business and consumer purchasing, employment,
product and opinion trends, demographics, and practices.
All information that we gather is tabulated and prepared
for review and distribution in aggregate form. We prepare
our studies, using this aggregate information, for clients
who are businesses that provide products and services
for commercial interests and consumers. We provide our
clients only aggregated data and information, and not
with any personal or identifying information regarding
our survey participants.
3.Our Commitment. The integrity of our work
depends on honest and candid survey responses and an
unbiased review of public information and data. Therefore,
we will always make it a fundamental responsibility
of our company to assure the privacy of our survey participants
and the organizations with which they are associated.
4.Types of Information that We Collect. We
collect information from written questions posed to
survey participants. Our survey questions may include
inquiries regarding opinions, product and service uses
and preferences, and general information such as a participant's
gender, level of education, age, marital status, and
general type of employment, depending on the type of
study that we are conducting. We also gather general
information from public data and records, such as population,
housing trends and types, traffic patterns, regional
income, education and employment statistics, and similar
information. We include all of this information in our
studies on an aggregate basis. We make no effort to
match public information or organizational membership
with individual survey responses.
5.What We Do Not Disclose. We do gather personal
and identifying information about individual survey
participants but we do not communicate such information
to our clients. Additionally, we do not reference or
otherwise communicate to our clients, directly or indirectly,
any information regarding the organizations with which
survey participants are associated in any of our studies.
6.What We Do With Personal Information We Gather
or May Receive. Once a participant completes
and returns a survey, we retain his or her personal
information as part of his or her personal profile.
A participant’s personal profile also may include
their survey responses and other public data. We maintain
a personal profile for respondents because our clients
request data or information from target groups, that
is groups that possess or can be defined by certain
characteristics. The participants’ personal profiles
enable PKG to construct and specify to our client the
group of respondents that most closely matches our client’s
desired or target group.
7.Our Security Procedures. We make
every effort to safeguard respondent information. We
restrict access to respondent's personal information
to our employees who need to know that information.
We also maintain physical, electronic, and procedural
safeguards to guard your personal information. After
a respondent has competed participation in our program,
we destroy all physical and electronic records associated
with such participant, other than information that is
included in our aggregate studies.
